The key tip is simple: start at the back of the bike and work forward.

Longtail bikes have more length and structure at the rear, especially around the rack, so fitting the cover from the back first helps the fabric settle properly before you pull it over the handlebars and front wheel.

How to fit the BikeParka Longtail cover

Start by placing the cover over the rear rack and back wheel.

Once the rear of the bike is covered, guide the cover forward over the saddle, frame and centre of the bike.

Finally, pull the front section over the handlebars and front wheel, then adjust the cover so it sits evenly from front to back.

Use the toggle system to help secure the cover in place.

Why longtail bikes need a different cover
